“ We are a frequent diner here at least 4 times a year. We typically go for happy hour and enjoy the drinks offered on special. Service is always attentive, we are always asked if everything is ok and if anyone needs or wants something. The gauchos come around multiple times with different selections and if you want something specific and cooked a certain way just ask. I prefer the salad bar here as it is excellent. Also check out their website for seasonal specials that they are offering. Also ask about their VIP card fundraising offer, we purchase one every year. ”

“ Texas de Brazil is a churrascaria or Brazilian steakhouse chain that has several dozen locations across the U.S. and several other countries. This restaurant in Pittsburgh offers dining in, to-go, and catering. As of January 2024, the prices are $34 per person for lunch ($22 for only salad buffet) and $54 per person for dinner ($33 for only salad buffet). Desserts and beverages cost extra. Most customers first eat food from the salad buffet, which includes Caesar salad, sautéed mushrooms, potatoes au gratin, jasmine rice, feijoada black beans, potato salad, couscous, hearts of palm, lobster bisque, etcetera. The main server also brings mashed potatoes, fried bananas, and Brazilian cheese bread to the table. Next, when the customers are ready for the meats, they turn over a card from red (stop) to green (bring meats!). Soon, gaucho servers stop by the table with meats, including beef, sausage, chicken, lamb, pork, etcetera. For many years, my husband and I have eaten meals here. For our most recent visit, we ate dinner. After a wait in line of a few minutes, seating hostesses found our reservation in the computer and walked us to a small table near the bar. We had many servers, and they all served us promptly and politely. My husband and I enjoyed the salad bar, meats, and alcoholic beverages. We both love the lobster bisque. My favorite meats are the picanha, flank steak, filet mignon, and beef ribs. My husband's favorite beverage is the soda Guarana Antarctica, but this time he drank a Rio Sunrise cocktail, and I drank a Strawberry Caipirinha, and we enjoyed their fruity flavors. The total price for our meal was $142 plus a tip. ”
